What does VeraHire do?
It runs your first round. VeraHire scores every resume against your job description, interviews the candidates you pick in a live voice conversation with an AI interviewer, and gives your team a ranked shortlist with a report on each person. Your team makes the hiring decision.
How does billing work?
A flat monthly or annual fee that includes a bundle of interviews and resume screenings. Go over the bundle and extra usage is billed at that plan's overage rate, and the bigger the plan, the lower the rate. Annual billing saves about 15%. No setup fees, no per-seat charges. Only SMS is billed separately.
What counts as an interview?
One completed first-round AI interview with a candidate: a natural-language conversation that produces a full transcript and a decision-ready report. A monthly allotment of resume screenings, AI scoring of a single resume against a role, is also included in your subscription at no extra charge.
Is resume screening billed separately?
No. Screenings are included in your subscription, and every plan comes with a monthly allotment (300 on Growth, for example). Exceed the bundle and extra screenings bill at your plan's overage rate. The only thing billed separately is SMS.
What happens if I go over my plan?
Nothing breaks. Usage beyond your bundle continues at your plan's overage rate, so you are never blocked mid-hire. If you are regularly over, upgrade anytime from your account. The change takes effect immediately and is pro-rated.
Do I need an ATS?
No. VeraHire works standalone: upload resumes, screen, and interview without any other system. If you do run an ATS, 50+ integrations push scores, transcripts and reports into your existing workflow.
Is VeraHire secure and compliant?

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long-term contracts on self-serve plans. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime from your account, and you keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for. We will not bill you again after that. As is standard, the current period is not pro-rated or refunded.
