Who decides who gets hired?
Your team does. VeraHire handles the first pass and shows its reasoning for every score. It never makes the hire.
Do I have to interview everyone?
No. Choose who gets an interview: everyone, everyone above a score, or candidates you pick by hand. Resume screening runs on every applicant either way.
Is the interview on video?
Only when you want it. Interviews are voice by default, in English. Video is available on request: once we switch it on for your account, you choose which jobs require the camera, and the recording sits next to the transcript in the report. No face analysis either way. Every interview is recorded and transcribed for your team.
How long does setup take?
About 15 to 30 minutes. Paste a job description, check the criteria it pulled out, and start inviting candidates. Prialto described their own setup as about 30 minutes.
Do we need an ATS?
No. If you run one, VeraHire works alongside it across 50+ ATS and HRIS integrations. If you don't, run the first round inside VeraHire and export the shortlist.
